Albums Wish You Could Hear Again First Time
What game do y'all wish you could play again for the first time?
Hey all, on my manner into work today this question popped into my mind when I was thinking of Ghost of Tsushima. I just recently beat that game and fifty-fifty got the Platinum trophy for it, the first time I ever actually did that and wish that I could have amnesia of the time I played it and could reexperience that game for the commencement time. I'g just wondering what game you'd pick to become back in time to play for the kickoff time again and get to play once again?

Tons.... but to name the two nigh recent ones:
The Forgotten Metropolis - 10/10, amazing feel, fantastic writing, setting, etc.. and every twist is legitimately a good ane. I played this every bit a "filler" game while I waiting for something else to finish downloading and ended up spending my entire weekend on it. You can beat the game in a few hours only this is i you'll go along to spend a bit of time with after beating it the first fourth dimension.
Outer Wilds - This was the game my childhood dreamed would exist anytime and it finally does. I wish I could go through it bullheaded again. No other game has ever come up this shut to really nailing exploring a truly alien solar organisation and trying to effigy out "wtf" ... it's an absolutely wonderful experience.

KOTOR, Bioshock, Starcraft Broodwar. The plot twists in the games were one of the virtually memorable and I loved them for it. Those stick out to me every bit i of the all-time writing leading up to a fantastic ending.
Edit: Afterwards some thought, I would like to add Mass Result Trilogy and Horizon: Zero Dawn. The stories were admittedly fantastic and I really honey the endings of both of them. One of those moments where you end and you sit there and call back about how freaking astonishing that was.

Hard to pick but one. Then here are a few I'd pick from over my years playing:
- Metal Gear Solid from PS1 - Nada like information technology existed even so.
- Uncharted ii - Showtime game was great but this was the acme of Uncharted.
- Horizon: Nix Dawn - This game but striking for me on so many levels.

I would love to play Asheron's Call again for the first time. That was the original graphic MMORPG game. What a blast that was.

Maybe World of Warcraft, not necessarily for the time it'd take to replay it all, just they built such an interesting world with a LOT of split up storylines that can exist very enjoyable to play through. non sure near the most recent few expansions though.

VikingMichael I have to say I love those Sierra games for sure. I used to play them with my neighbours and we were hooked on them. I could never practise King'southward Quest at all, that i only collection me nuts. Infinite Quest 3 I retrieve beingness fun I recall I finished that one as well but lets be honest a lot of them you needed to accept that walkthrough or just practise a lot of guessing to get through some parts for sure.

Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Vii Stars. It'southward the game that got me into RPGs, and got me paying attention to Square. I've pretty much memorized the entirety of it, and back when I was a kid I made a ritual out of playing through it over again on both Summer and Christmas breaks. Upward until that moment I had never played a game that was then open up, gave y'all and so much to explore, and actually told a decent story. It's dirt like shooting fish in a barrel every bit someone who understands RPGs, only a fantastic RPG 101 for children or people new to the genre.
Persona 3: This one is odd considering if I hadn't been directly lied to about what this game was, I wouldn't have played information technology. I was told information technology was a horror RPG with Lovecraft and Religious flavoring, which is about as true as saying that a flat tire still technically has some air in it. It'due south a weeb-trash school simulator with some very balmy horror flavoring and dungeon itch. It is to horror what Pizza Flavored Pringles are to actual Pizza. That said, the characters are all marvelously written, the music is fantastic, the story is pretty good, and the game itself is fun. It also hit me at the perfect time in my life where I was fresh into college and right out of high schoolhouse.
Phoenix Wright: Justice for All: As you tin probably imagine, mystery and detective games aren't actually that great on your 2d and tertiary playthroughs. Plot twists but surprise y'all once, and Case 2-iv's scene with the truthful culprit and the wine glass is my favorite scene in any course of media ever. And unlike the elevator scene in Grave Encounters 2, it's not i brilliant idea surrounded by a ton of trash.

Probably Chrono Trigger or FF7 but in that location'southward been a lot of good choices posted here and so far then its difficult to pick just 1. Another good one would exist the last two expansions of FF14, fantastic stories, the entire thing would be a bit much... At that place are a lot of games I'd similar to play again for the get-go fourth dimension merely I think there are even more shows\movies I wish I could re-watch in the same way. First ones that come to mind are BSG(the newer one) and Dexter.

Persona iii: This 1 is odd because if I hadn't been straight lied to well-nigh what this game was, I wouldn't have played it. I was told it was a horror RPG with Lovecraft and Religious flavoring, which is about as true as proverb that a flat tire yet technically has some air in it. It's a weeb-trash school simulator with some very mild horror flavoring and dungeon crawling. It is to horror what Pizza Flavored Pringles are to bodily Pizza. That said, the characters are all marvelously written, the music is fantastic, the story is pretty good, and the game itself is fun. It likewise hitting me at the perfect time in my life where I was fresh into college and right out of high school.
Would be 1 of my picks likewise. Luckily for me, I wasn't misled about information technology's nature. I played it in preparation for Persona 4 Arena, and the blurb on PS3 describes it as an RPG where y'all balance school life and dungeon crawling, the sort of crazy thing I'd pick upwards anyway if I was trawling for PS2 games at a store. I loved everything about it, and thought the aesthetic was very absurd. I likewise powered through it in college, except that my save file disappeared in one case so I played it a lot more than I planned to. The social links are great side stories to explore. I'm curious well-nigh the PSP port, it's almost universally regarded as better, but I don't think I could bargain with the hardware limitations.
Along those lines, Persona 4 is as well a game I want to forget almost to experience again. It's not equally coherent of a package every bit P3, and honestly it's not quite as good overall, but I got so invested in the characters. P3'southward bandage doesn't really warm up to the protagonist speedily, and they're pretty serious almost the main storyline. P4's cast is super welcoming and pulls the protagonist straight into their friend group, simply at the same time, are somehow nigh to go nearly their anime loftier school lives despite having to investigate an active series killer. It's a jarring thing to realize and definitely the flaw with the writing, but I had so much fun getting to know them, hanging out with them, going on holiday, and such, it was heartbreaking to take to say farewell at the end. I tried to jump right back in to first on the platinum, merely I dunno, it didn't feel nigh every bit good. This is likewise way more anime than Persona 3 so I tin can't recommend it if that'south a plough-off.
I watched my mom's friend's son end Super Mario RPG as a niggling child, but was also immature to really sympathise what was going on other than Mario, Peach, and Bowser working together for some reason. I have since gone back and played it, excellent game. However, yous mentioning that reminded me about the Newspaper Mario. Playing that felt then wild the offset fourth dimension. I had played Phantasy Star on the Genesis, and knew about Super Mario RPG as mentioned above, merely getting a Mario RPG on the Nintendo 64 was so crazy. The game itself turned out to exist a lot of fun.
I would say World of Warcraft, but the stipulation is that everyone has to be playing it for the first time over again. Getting in on MMORPGs day one is a lot of fun and the fact that I oft miss launches is why I don't get into them very ofttimes nowadays. Similarly, I would love to play PSO2 totally fresh, just only if we got content at the aforementioned schedule every bit the Japanese did, because it's way besides much otherwise.

I recollect anyone who has seen my posts and my answers to ConanTheSystemAdmin's weekly "what did you play this weekend" posts. I am a large Halo fan, and I would like to play Halo 3 for the starting time time again. It's such a good game and in that location were so many questions I had because it was the Halo game I played. I didn't take an Xbox as a kid so I never got a chance to play Halo: CE and Halo 2. I played local split-screen at a friend'due south house me and my brothers soon wanted our own Xbox360.

A lot of classics come to mind, but truly information technology would be either Breath of the Wild or Mario Odyssey. Kinda crazy that they came out the same yr. Both crazy innovative games for their franchises and I loved exploring and discovering things in both. Go dorsum to both every bit well. There are enough of games that would be fun for the first fourth dimension but I am glad I accept those memories.

I recall I'd go with Skyrim, Fallout: New Vegas or Persona 3-5. If I actually had to pick one, I'd probably become with Persona 5. I literally burned iii days of holiday to play that game when it came out. Ended upwardly going through the game twice during my five day weekend.

Persona 3: This ane is odd considering if I hadn't been straight lied to well-nigh what this game was, I wouldn't have played it. I was told information technology was a horror RPG with Lovecraft and Religious flavoring, which is well-nigh as truthful as maxim that a apartment tire even so technically has some air in information technology. It also hit me at the perfect time in my life where I was fresh into college and right out of high school.
Would exist one of my picks too. Luckily for me, I wasn't misled about it's nature. I played it in preparation for Persona four Loonshit, and the blurb on PS3 describes it equally an RPG where you lot residue school life and dungeon crawling, the sort of crazy thing I'd pick up anyway if I was trawling for PS2 games at a store. I loved everything well-nigh it, and thought the aesthetic was very absurd. I as well powered through it in higher, except that my salve file disappeared in one case then I played information technology a lot more than than I planned to. The social links are great side stories to explore. I'g curious about the PSP port, it's well-nigh universally regarded every bit improve, but I don't think I could deal with the hardware limitations.
Along those lines, Persona four is also a game I desire to forget well-nigh to experience once again. It's not as coherent of a package equally P3, and honestly it's not quite as proficient overall, but I got so invested in the characters. P3's cast doesn't really warm up to the protagonist quickly, and they're pretty serious about the main storyline. P4's cast is super welcoming and pulls the protagonist straight into their friend grouping, but at the aforementioned time, are somehow nigh to go about their anime high school lives despite having to investigate an active serial killer. It's a jarring affair to realize and definitely the flaw with the writing, but I had then much fun getting to know them, hanging out with them, going on holiday, and such, it was heartbreaking to accept to say goodbye at the stop. I tried to spring right dorsum in to get-go on the platinum, but I dunno, it didn't feel nigh as skillful. This is as well way more anime than Persona iii so I tin can't recommend it if that's a turn-off.
I watched my mom'south friend's son finish Super Mario RPG equally a picayune kid, just was likewise young to really understand what was going on other than Mario, Peach, and Bowser working together for some reason. I have since gone back and played information technology, excellent game. However, y'all mentioning that reminded me about the Newspaper Mario. Playing that felt then wild the commencement time. I had played Phantasy Star on the Genesis, and knew near Super Mario RPG as mentioned above, merely getting a Mario RPG on the Nintendo 64 was so crazy. The game itself turned out to be a lot of fun.
I think what y'all mentioned most the cast being cool on your grapheme initially was really one of the things I really liked about P3. It felt a chip more like a natural evolution of relationships where people accept to earn each other's trust, and avoids the trope of everyone instantly liking the new kid.
I also heavily suggest going though P3 Portable on the female Protag's route. She has mode more personality than the Male person Protag, and you encounter totally different sides of characters than the Male one does. Junpei doesn't react well to the Male Protag immediately getting squad leader status the first fourth dimension you all go dungeon crawling, but reacts EXTREMELY negatively when the Female Protag gets ranked above him. A lot of the other relationships are affected accordingly likewise, peculiarly Yukari and Mitsuru's. Her route also fixes the stupid oversight of not being able to hang out with party members like you tin can in P4, which was vital to really digging into those characters. That'south probably why so many people similar the P4 cast more than. The P3 bandage are just co-workers in all but the Female Road in P3P, the P4 cast are actually friends you hang out with on the weekends. The only affair you lose in P3P is the ability to walk around a lot of the in-town areas. They are reduced to static maps, but it doesn't hurt nearly as much as that sounds. The portable version adds too many proficient things for that minor hiccup to ruin the feel.

I likewise heavily advise going though P3 Portable on the female Protag's route. That really makes a lot of sense and I'thou probably not the simply person who desperately wants to know why Atlus fabricated the enhanced versions portable exclusive. I have a PSTV so I can easily play them as console games, but it almost feels similar a troll given how the PSP and Vita performed in sales, not to mention the PSTV being a real flop. I would bank check P3P out but I'grand never sure if I have the fourth dimension to sink into a JRPG. It's why I still don't accept P4 Golden'south platinum trophy.
That said, I actually like blue haired emo Jesus. I always found his interactions with the townsfolk to be funny given his edgy, aloof aureola.
Stumbling into the series was seriously eye opening though, and I'grand jealous of anyone who gets to play the modern Persona games for the outset time.

Dragon's Lair - Non since Tennis for 2 or Spacewar, and likely never once more, has there been such a dramatic shift in what games had the potential to be than Dragon's Lair. In an historic period where circles were more theoretical and abstract than doable goals and colour, voice and multichannel music was in its infancy along came a game with Disney quality blitheness, total theatrical orchestral scores and movie quality vocals. Information technology took 25 years only to be close to duplicating the quality on non disk based media. It was equally if a 21st century game got dropped into the arcades of 1983.
Today the game may look about equally exciting every bit navigating a clever carte on a DVD but back then it was practically magical. I call up spending visits to the arcade doing petty more than watching the attract mode in awe.
Even VR lacked the impact as that eased into being as lilliputian more than than wireframes and has slowly gained quality over the years. To lucifer the impact of Dragon's Lair it would accept had to have gone from wireframes to say the quality of the Matrix in Unreal v tech demo quality overnight. That leap from primitive to mind blowing would accept to be there in addition to the various tracking elements.
I would love to feel that feeling again and I wish you could too.

Wow this is a difficult one. There are virtually too many games to choose from over the years. After some thinking I've managed to get them down to 5:
- Mass Effect two - I was going to go with the whole trilogy merely two has e'er been my favourite. I loved building my team and then doing the Suicide Mission.
- Half Life two - the Ravenholme level had so much atmosphere and the Gravity gun was so absurd.
- Deus Ex - this was my first RPG. I admittedly loved playing the game my manner and the plot blew me abroad over 20 years ago.
- Horizon Cypher Dawn - this was the showtime game I played on the PS4 and it was an absolutely perfect gaming feel (it was either this or God of War)
- Batman: Arkham Urban center - I did savour Arkham Asylum but this is my favourite. It congenital on everything great with Aviary and came with a truly shocking ending.
